The 240th anniversary of the Battle of Wyoming was remembered at the annual Fourth of July ceremony at the Wyoming Monument. The annual ceremony honors the memory of the 350 soldiers and colonists killed during the Revolutionary War battle on July 3, 1778 that occurred in present-day Exeter. Many of those killed are buried near the monument.
