The fourth and fifth grade students at the Wyoming Area Intermediate Center recently competed in a 24 tournament. The game of 24 uses playing cards displaying four numbers. The object of the game is to use all four numbers on the card to get the solution 24. Students can add, subtract, multiply, and/or divide. Students first competed in their math classes and then the top finishers competed in the building competition. The fifth grade winners were Jack Golden, first place, and Anthony DeLucca, second place. The fourth grade winners were Brian Malet, first place, and Abigail Francis, second place.
