Wyoming Area Catholic School in Exeter and Pittston Area PDG Leo’s Club have joined forces to fight blindness. The public is invited to help with this effort by donating used prescription glasses. Glass Glo, the collection container who loves to “eat” glasses, has a place of honor in the Wyoming Area Catholic School lobby. Participants can “feed” their eyeglasses to Glass Glo, who will gladly accept prescription glasses or sunglasses. Since 1917, Lions/Leo Clubs have been improving eye care to millions worldwide. Sight programs remain one of the Lions Club’s most defining causes. First row, from left, are Shane Cegelka, Michael Casey holding Glass Glo, and Jaden Exter. Second row: Alexis Romanowski, Kody Olejnik as the Wyoming Area Catholic Cougar mascot, and Olivia Latoski.
