Lokuta receives law
degree from PSU
Fred J. Lokuta, son of Fredrick and Linda Lokuta, of Dupont, received his Juris Doctor degree May 12 from Penn State School of Law.
Lokuta is a 2011 graduate of Pittston Area High School. He graduated from Penn State in 2015 with a degree in political science and a minor in economics.
He took the Pennsylvania Bar exam in July and hopes to practice law locally.
Zaboski graduates from
University of Scranton’s
Jesuit Honors program
Gared Zaboski, of West Wyoming, was one of just 35 members of The University of Scranton’s class of 2018 to graduate from its Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program (SJLA), which is one of the university’s programs of excellence. Students in SJLA pursue a rigorous education designed to develop enhanced writing, oral and critical-thinking skills through specially designed courses in philosophy, theology and literature.
Zaboski, who graduated cum laude, majored in criminal justice, political science and philosophy.
Kamor graduates from
Jonathon Paul Kamor, of Duryea, received a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education and special education during spring commencement ceremonies at Kutztown University.
Graduating summa cum laude, Kamor finished with a 3.8 GPA. He received the following honors: Academic Excellence, Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, Outstanding Senior in History Award, the Martin Luther King Jr. Award and Clinical Experience Award, as well as membership in Phi Alpha Theta and Phi Delta Kappa honor societies.
He is the son of Paul and Kathleen Kamor, of Duryea, and the grandson of Thomas and Catherine Sunick, of Scranton, and Paul and Patricia Kamor, of Wyoming.
