The Parish Community of St. John the Evangelist, Pittston, will hold its 20th annual bazaar from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, through Saturday, Aug. 10. The bazaar will be held each night, rain or shine. The bazaar will be held at the church lot at Church and Broad streets in Pittston and will feature nightly entertainment, ethnic and American foods, variety booths, bingo, children’s games, raffles, books, jewelry, and baked goods. The church bazaar will feature its famous giant indoor flea market opening at 5 p.m. each day. Entertainment lineup includes Pop Star Drive on Thursday, Emerald Isle Step Dancers and Sweet Pepper and the Long Hots on Friday and Pat Ward Magic Show and Flaxy Morgan on Saturday.
