will host College Fair

Wyoming Area Guidance Department will host a College Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the cafeteria at the secondary center. Admission representatives from numerous colleges, universities, trade schools and the armed services will be available to meet with prospective students and families to answer any questions and provide important admission information.

All 11th and 12th grade students are encouraged to attend. Students in local surrounding schools other than Wyoming Area are invited.

Pittston Area offers breakfast cart options

Pittston Area’s intermediate and primary centers are offering selections from breakfast carts at 8:30 a.m. daily.

Students have the option of taking part in the traditional breakfast program in the cafeterias, or they can visit the breakfast cart and choose a grab and go option, such as whole grain breakfast bars, cinnamon rolls, bagels and muffins. Fresh fruit, juice and milk also will be included. Breakfast for all grades is $1.20; 30 cents for reduced breakfast. Free breakfast is available for those who qualify.

WA Drama Club plans

pasta dinner, craft fair

Wyoming Area Drama Club will host its annual pasta dinner and craft fair from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at the secondary center cafeteria, 20 Memorial St., Exeter. Tickets are $10. Walk-ins are welcome. Dinner includes pasta, meatballs, bread, dessert and beverage. Takeouts are available. For advance tickets, call Jeanette at 570-817-1339.
