Pittston Memorial library announces the following upcoming events:
The library is hosting its second annual mini golf event.
The Adult Putt and Party will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22. Tickets include a round of mini golf, food and adult beverages. Table reservations at the 19th Hole Club House are available. Cost is $25 per person, $40 per couple and $75 per foursome. This event is only open to ages 21 and older.
Family-friendly mini golf will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. Players of all ages will enjoy a family oriented day filled with mini golf, food, beverages, and more. Cost is $5 per person; free for under 5.

Children’s day and
classic children’s books
Take Your Child to the Library Day is Saturday, Feb. 2. The day will include story time at 11 a.m. with Miss Kristin, followed by ice cream sandwiches. Crafting and Lego free play will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All ages are invited to sign up for a library card.
The library, along with LCCC’s Amy Baylor, will host a free, three-week program for parents and children featuring classic children’s authors. Participants will learn about the authors, listen to a story, and do activities or crafts. This program will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 7, 14 and 21, and is open to any family with a child in kindergarten through second grade.
