Pittston Area High School will hold a course selection night for eight-grade students entering the high school for the 2020-21 school year. Any parochial and/or private school students who would like to register also are welcome.

The program will be held Monday, March 9, at the high school. There will be a program to discuss Wilkes-Barre Area Career & Technical Center programs at 5:30 p.m. in the high school library. All other course selections will be at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

Students and parents will be selecting courses from the programs of study for the 2020-21 school year. The presentation will discuss the programs of study throughout high school, course selections, pre-requisites for the course selections, Early College Class opportunities, and Keystone Exams. Guidance counselors, department chairs and administrators will be on hand to answer questions.

If parents/students cannot attend, students will be called down to schedule on Skyward and parents will have the opportunity to view the selected courses and changes can be made.
