Pittston Area School District’s Martin F. Quinn Primary Center participates in the Artist in Residence program through the Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit. The program focuses on unlocking each student’s creative artist within. Artist Erin Malloy has been working with the children to develop their singing, dancing and public speaking skills. First grade teachers, Marissa Barr and Kristine Klem assisted Malloy in the production of a Halloween show. All first grade classes will have the opportunity to work with the artist and present a show during the school year.
