Phoenix Kids will present “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays through March 10 at Phoenix Performing Arts Centre, 409 Main St., Duryea. Tickets are $10; $5 for children 5 and younger. Reservations are recommended by calling at 570-457-3589. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” is the story of a poor boy named Charlie and four spoiled children who win a tour through the incredible factory of an odd confectioner, Willy Wonka. The show is appropriate for all ages. Lee LaChette is director/choreographer with Jackie Legg as musical director and Meg Davis as assistant director. Assistant choreographers are Sarah Neel and Brooke Taylor and Brooke Manley is dance captain.
