A veterans’ pasta dinner benefit will take place Sunday, March 31, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Center in Pittston. All proceeds will benefit St. Francis Commons and its services to veterans who are homeless. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Takeout will be available 11 a.m. to noon. Tickets to the event, which is being presented by AmeriHealth Cartas, are $12. They are available at Mucciollo Family Wines in Old Forge, Vintage Vogue in Pittston, Hot Heads by Michelle in West Pittston, or through St. Francis Commons by calling 570-209-9200, ext. 2302. Music will be provided by Flatland Ruckus and wine will be available from Mucciollo Family Wines. There also will be raffle prizes and 50/50 drawings.
