Pittston Area’s Martin F. Quinn Primary Center is participating in Fuel Up to Pay 60, the leading in-school health and wellness program that empowers students and educators to work together to build healthier schools and create healthy, high achieving students by making great food choices and increasing activity. Lynn DiGregorio’s first-grade class recently won a random drawing that was sponsored to increase awareness of the importance of eating cheese and drinking milk to build our bones and teeth. All children in the class received a cow shaped pencil and cheese shaped eraser.
