Megan Youells and Nicholas Georgetti were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2018, at St. Therese’s Church in Shavertown, with the Rev. James Paisley officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Matrons of honor were Renee Gregor Comeaux, cousin of the bride, and Brooke Severcool Padavan, friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Alyssa Miller, Jacqualine Lowe Paupst, Joanna Sabate Petrazzolo, Stephanie Bogaczyk Mosher and Natasha Jankowsky Hastings, friends of the bride, and Brooke Georgetti, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Meila Sabate, goddaughter of the bride, and Keira Petrazzolo.

Best man was Michael Manley, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Craig Ceccacci, Justin Kraft, Jim Lovallo, Erik Bagasevich, Brandon Fenten and Corey Buckley, friends of the groom, and Tom Youells Jr., brother of the bride.

Scriptural readings were given by Brad Georgetti, uncle of the groom, and Albert Danouski, uncle of the bride. Gifts were brought to the altar by James Scouton Jr., uncle of the bride, and Robert MacKee Jr., uncle of the groom.

A cocktail hour and reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, were held at the Woodlands Inn and Resort. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at Leggio’s Italian Restaurant, Dallas. The bride was honored at a shower hosted by her mother and grandmother at Irem Clubhouse, Dallas. The couple was honored at an engagement party hosted by the parents of the bride at their home.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Kathleen Youells, of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Janet Scouton of Kingston and the late James Scouton, and the late Robert and Regina Youells of Wyoming. She is a graduate of Dallas High School and Lock Haven University. She is a senior accountant at CSS Industries, Moosic.

The groom is the son of Mark and Michele Georgetti of Scranton. He is the grandson of Robert and Charlotte MacKee of Scranton and Matt and Marcie Georgetti of Clarks Summit. He is a graduate of Scranton High School and Marywood University. He is a loss prevention manager at TJ Maxx Distribution Center, Pittston.

The couple went on a honeymoon cruise through the southern Caribbean. They reside in Shavertown with their two cats, Jax and Skittles.
