Kaitlyn Moran and Michael Tigue, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Lisa Moran, of Plains Twp. She is the granddaughter of Hope Spunar and the late Albert Spunar, of Wilkes-Barre, and the late John and AnnJuan Moran, of Wilkes-Barre.
Her maid of honor will be life-long friend, Kaileen Metzger. Her brothers, John III, Brian and Patrick will stand with her, along with sister-in-laws, Jill and Deb Moran. Her nephew and godson, Atticus Moran and Braxton Bevan, will be ring bearers.
The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Coughlin High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Misericordia University in 2014 and her master’s degree in health care administration from King’s College in 2018.
She is employed by Geisinger Health Systems as a registered nurse.
The prospective groom is the son of John and Cheryl Tigue, of West Wyoming. He is the grandson of Ida Ide and the late James Ide, of Exeter; Margaret Tigue, of Exeter, and John and Cathy Tigue, of Mountain Top. His best man will be life-long friend, Jake Schulz. His brother, Cristopher, will be a groomsman. His niece, Ella Tigue, will be flower girl.
He is a 2009 graduate of Wyoming Area High School. He earned his associate degree in plumbing, heating and air conditioning from Luzerne County Community College in 2014.
He is employed by Monk Heating and Air Conditioning as a lead installer.
The couple will exchange vows May 25, 2019, at Irem Shrine Country Club, Dallas, with a reception to follow.
The couple resides in Monroe Twp. with their dogs and bunny, Cinder, Callie and Duke.
