The Pittston Twp. Ambulance Association’s 2019 membership drive is now underway.
With generous financial assistance from the people of Pittston Twp., the ambulance association was able to place new vehicles in to service.
The annual membership is $35 per residence.

The CENS program is for subscribing members who can be notified electronically of any community emergency or other important safety information via email. It is a way for members to stay informed of community hazards, changing travel and local weather and road conditions. This service comes free of charge to members only. The sticker prices are based on the size of the bin the resident owns, a small bin, 35 gallons, is $120; medium bin, 65 gallons, is $240, and a large bin, 95 gallons, is $280. Bulk stickers also are available for purchase. Residents must purchase a full sheet of six stickers for $30.
Residents no longer have to schedule a pickup with County Waste for bulk items. Just place items out on Monday evening or by approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday for bulk sticker items to be picked up. The following items are not accepted: tires, building materials, automobile parts and electronics.
All transactions must be complete by Jan. 31, 2019 or residents will face penalty fees.

Any resident failing to pay in full by the deadline will face a $10 late fee, effective Feb. 1, 2019.
