A membership is active for a full calendar year and covers all persons residing in a common household, along with any visiting guests.
Residents of the new Boulevard Station Apartments on North Township Blvd. can stop by the apartment business office and obtain a membership brochure. The association thanks Calamar Development for its assistance with the membership drive.
Anyone who has not received a membership brochure is asked to contact the ambulance association at 570-654-4717 or email at email@example.com and one will be mailed.
The membership drive will close Saturday, Feb. 29.
The ambulance service has a new EMS provider on staff. Mia Vitali is an EMT with multiple years experience in emergency services and is now going through the association’s orientation program. PTAA is currently seeking additional EMS providers and has one full-time position open. Qualified persons can submit an application online at www.ptaa-ems.com by using the “Employment/Volunteering” link. Deadline for filing an application is Saturday, Jan. 11.
The ambulance board of directors and EMS staff will hold its annual winter social Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Dupont Hose Company. Staff members will be acknowledged for their service.
PTAA is continuing its fundraiser through the AmazonSmile Foundation Website, with a small percentage of your purchase on eligible items on Amazon going to a charitable organization of your choice such as PTAA. To participate, go to Smile.Amazon.com, log in with your Amazon user name and password and in the search bar type in Pittston Twp. Ambulance Association.
