Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Many people skip over this prestigious holiday after Halloween and immediately start to plan and think of Christmas. But Thanksgiving is a very important holiday. Not only does it remind everybody of the early settlers who founded the nation, but it teaches us to be grateful for the food we are able to eat and the people we are able to eat it with.

Thanksgiving is a holiday that reminds everyone to be grateful and thankful for everything that you have. Some may even think they don’t have much, but there may be someone who has it worse. Please take time this holiday to remind whoever you are with that you’re thankful they are in your life. And, if someone is making you an amazing meal, simply thank them. Thanksgiving is all about being thankful, polite and grateful.

I hope you all enjoy the holiday with the ones you love and remember the ones who are no longer with us — some of them may have started the very traditions you are practicing today.
