Students from Misericordia University, Dallas, made scholarly presentations at the 13th Undergraduate Conference in Medieval and Early Modern Studies at Moravian College in December.

The students, under the direction of faculty advisor Rebecca Steinberger, Ph.D., professor of English at Misericordia University, presented scholarly papers about Queen Elizabeth I, Shakespeare, King James I, Antony and Cleopatra and more.

Among the student presenters at the conference were the following Greater Pittston students:

Madison Cardinale, of Dupont, whose scholarly paper addressed “The Accession Question: King James I’s Influence on Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth.’”

Kristen Capitano, of Pittston, who presented research on “Antony and Cleopatra.”
