The Greater Pittston Friendly Sons of St. Patrick announce the club will hold its annual Past Presidents Dinner on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Knights of Columbus on Main Street in Pittston. The night will begin with the annual elections of new officers at 6 p.m., a cocktail hour from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner catered by Catering by Fred. Cost of the event is $25 per person.
This year the organization will honor Joe Long, its current past president.

The club also hosted its first women’s breakfast on St. Patrick’s Day that was highly successful. The culminating event of Long’s presidency was the 104th annual St. Patrick’s Day Banquet with former Chicago Bear and Notre Dame standout Chris Zorich as principal speaker.
Chairman of this year’s dinner is Past President Terry McMahon.
