Merry Christmas, my friends! I hope you have a wonderful holiday with the people you love!

As I think about Christmas, I find myself thinking about the holidays I enjoyed as a child. One of my favorite childhood memories was hopping in the car with my parents and brother to look at the Christmas lights on people’s homes throughout the towns. It was such a treat to see and now as an adult and official outdoor Christmas decorator at my own house, I have a deeper appreciation of the work it takes to make those lights shine.

Our local Lions Club, like many of us, knows what it takes to make the Christmas lights shine, too. They provide numerous lighted snowflakes and Christmas lights throughout town for our community to enjoy. To help offset the cost of this project, the Lions would appreciate your support. To donate, please send a check or money order made payable to Duryea Lions Club, P.O. Box 2085, Duryea, PA 18642.
