Happy New Year! Here’s to new beginnings and fresh starts in life!
Speaking of new beginnings and fresh starts, our Little League is making a new start this upcoming season. Beginning this spring, the Avoca/Dupont Little League will become part of the newly formed Greater Pittston Area Little League. This league includes not only Avoca/Dupont, but also the Duryea and Pittston City Little Leagues. It will offer players the opportunity to play at three different facilities, expanded competition and an opportunity to form friendships with children from neighboring towns.
The registration fee for each division is as follows: tee-ball, $25; coach pitch, $35; minors, $75, and majors, $75. The maximum family fee is $110.
For information and to register visit www.gplittleleague.com.
