Alyssa Miller and Gerard Kashuda Jr., together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Glenn and Lisa Miller, of Shavertown. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy and Walter Lushefski, of Shavertown, and the late Kent and Agnes Miller, formerly of West Pittston.
The prospective groom is the son of Gerard Sr. and Janet Kashuda, of Plains Twp. He is the grandson of Margaret and John Benzi, of Plains Twp., and the late Francis and Eleanor Kashuda, formerly of West Pittston.
Ms. Miller is a 2007 graduate of Dallas Senior High School and a 2011 graduate of King’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, and a dual minor in mass communications and business administration. She owns Home Yoga & Barre in West Pittston and is a web marketing specialist at CSS Industries in Moosic.
Mr. Kashuda is a 2005 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and a 2009 graduate of King’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a minor in business administration. He also is pursuing a teaching degree at King’s College and is currently an appeals specialist at Maximus Federal Services in Pittston.
The couple will exchange vows followed by a cocktail hour and reception at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Stroudsburg on July 11, 2020. They currently reside in Wyoming with their cats, Eli and Louis.
