Samantha Beth Bowman and Thomas F. Malloy Jr. were united in marriage on Aug. 1, 2020, at the Chapel of Christ the King, with the Rev. Ken Segar as celebrant.
The bride is the daughter of Jason and Deirdre Keefe, of West Wyoming, and Doug Bowman, of Honesdale.
The groom is the son of the Honorable Thomas F. Malloy and Alicia Malloy, of Wilkes-Barre.
The bride chose her aunt Jody Fernandez as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kat Kerecman, Angel Mandarano, Krystine Patterson and Liz Wojciechowski, friends of the bride, and Riley Keefe, sister of the bride.
Flower girl was Stella Simon, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Regan Simon, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Michael Malloy, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Dan Dunn III, Richard Lopez, Richard Klapat, Jordan Flaherty and Tyler Seigar, friends of the groom.
Ring bearer was Zac Simon, cousin of the groom.
A wedding reception was held at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Plains Twp.
The bride grew up in Larksville and is a graduate of Wyoming Valley West. She later attended East Stroudsburg University, where she studied education and business. She is a brand ambassador for Ford and travels the country working auto shows.
The groom grew up in the East End section of Wilkes-Barre. He is a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and King’s College, with a degree in criminal justice and sociology. He is employed by Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance as a property and casualty adjuster II.
The couple resides in Laflin with their cats Thor and Jenga.
