Megan Lynne Johnson and Tyler Robert Morgan were united in marriage on Sept. 26, 2020, in Dallas, by the Rev. Jennifer Baer, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Mari Johnson, of Trucksville. She is the granddaughter of Barbara Rogers and the late Walter Rogers, of Shavertown, and Robert Johnson and the late Beverly Johnson, of Trucksville.
The groom is the son of Robert and Cheryl Morgan Jr., of Wyoming. He is the grandson of the late John and Elaine Roberts, of Trucksville, and the late Robert and Geraldine Morgan Sr., of Dallas.
The bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father.
She chose her brother, Bradley Johnson, as her man of honor, and Nicole Morgan, sister of the groom, as her maid of honor. Jennifer Yannuzzi and Hailey Noss, friends of the bride, were her bridesmaids.
The groom chose friends Christopher Dillon and Jordan Mullen as co-best men. His sister, Erica Morgan, was groom’s woman and friend Jarred Rosengrant was groomsman.
The bride was honored at a display shower hosted by her mother, man and maid of honors and bridesmaids at Appletree Terrace, Dallas.
The parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at The Checkerboard Inn, Trucksville.
The wedding reception was held in Dallas, in the backyard of the groom’s aunt and uncle, Roger and Tracy Morgan.
Megan is a 2013 graduate of Dallas High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from King’s College in 2017.
She is employed in the accounting department by the Ken Pollock Auto Group, Pittston, and as a server at Tipsy Turtle, Swoyersville.
Tyler is a 2011 graduate of Dallas High School and received his associate degree in exercise science from Luzerne County Community College in 2013. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Bloomsburg University in 2016.
He is employed as an exercise physiologist by United Methodist Homes, Wesley Village Campus, Pittston, and as a part-time supervisor by UPS, Pittston.
The couple traveled to Gatlinburg, Tenn., for their honeymoon.
They reside in Forty Fort.
