Irene Evelyn Magdon, daughter of Gary and Mary Magdon, of Dupont, and Drew Amando Graham, son of Kimberly Levesque, of Peake Island, Maine, and David Dehahn, of Raymond, Maine, were united in marriage on Sept. 19, 2020. The ceremony took place at Lacawac Sanctuary, Lake Ariel.
Escorted by her parents to the outdoor ceremony, Irene chose her brother, Gary, as man of honor. Best friend, Alex Kluger, of Florida, was her maid of honor. Kerigan Graham, of Maine, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaid, and Ellie Magdon, of New Jersey, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.
Drew chose his best friend, Nelson Long, of Colorado, as his best man. His groomsmen were Buck Nichols, of Vermont; Dan DiTomasso, of Massachusetts; Tyler Cyr, of South Carolina, and Payson Robinson, of Maine. The wedding ceremony was officiated by William Waldron III, also of Maine, and a reading was given by Joyce Yamelski, aunt of the bride.
A reception followed the ceremony.
Due to COVID, a ‘Jack n Jill’ shower was held virtually. Aunts, uncles, cousins and friends signed in from eight states to surprise the couple.
The bride is a 2014 graduate of Pittston Area High School. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science and a master’s degree in public administration, both from Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont. She is employed at Maine’s state prison.
The groom is a 2013 graduate of Portland High School, Maine. He graduated cum laude MCV, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice at Norwich University, Vermont. He is employed as a county sheriff’s deputy in Maine.
The couple resides in Friendship, Maine.
