Dr. Heather Marsico and Ryan Cummings, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas and Kathy Marsico, of Duryea. She is the granddaughter of the late Leo and Mary Dushko, formerly of Duryea, and the late Joseph and Louise Marsico, formerly of Old Forge.
The prospective groom is the son of John and Lisa Cummings, of Duryea. He is the grandson of the late Dolores Semyon, formerly of Pittston, and John and Loris Cummings, of Pittston.
The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Pittston Area High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology in 2014 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017, both from Misericordia University. She is currently employed at Cawley Physical Therapy.
The prospective groom is a 2014 graduate of Pittston Area High School. He received his Class A- CDL in 2019 from Fortis Institute and is currently employed as a Class A- CDL driver at FedEx.
The couple plans to exchange wedding vows on Sept. 25, 2021 at St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Pittston.
