Danielle Shaver, of Trucksville, and Mark Guarnieri, of Pittston, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Michele Shaver, of Trucksville.
She is the granddaughter of the late Anne and Paul Shaver Jr., formerly of Trucksville, and the late Michael and Gloria Ciavarella, formerly of Wilkes Barre.
The groom-to-be is the son of Dr. Louis Guarnieri and the late Marie Guarnieri, of Pittston.
He is the grandson of the late Charles and Irene Guarnieri, formerly of Duryea, and the late Raymond McGarry and Anne Mitchell McGarry, formerly of Pittston. He is the step-grandson of the late Nancy Hopkins McGarry, formerly of Pittston.
The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Dallas High School and a 2015 graduate of Misericordia University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in medical imaging. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration at Misericordia University. She is employed as a cardiovascular invasive specialist at Geisinger CMC.
The groom-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Holy Redeemer High School and a 2013 graduate of the Art Institute of York PA, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in media arts and animation. He is employed as lead artist at the Embroidery Factory in Pittston.
Danielle and Mark were engaged on Aug. 1, 2020 and will be married in November 2021 at St. Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church in Laflin.
